We will kick off the year with Missionary Travis Rosenthal, Arkansas’s Home Missionary from the World Prayer Center. Travis will kick off our National Week of Prayer services with a special message.
We will meet each night, Sunday through Saturday, at 6:00pm for a special time of prayer for 2026. Each night will have a prayer emphasis. Come one night or all.
We will still have dinner at 5:30pm on Wednesday as usual.
Sunday—Pray for Our Nation—Pray for a spiritual awakening in our country so that multitudes will repent of this sins and trust in Jesus for salvation.
Monday—Pray for Our Schools—Pray for God’s Spirit to be poured out on students of every age. Ask God to protect all who study and work on school and college campuses throughout the U.S.
Tuesday—Pray for Our National Leaders—Pray for the safety of our national leaders. Ask God to make them people of integrity and give them wisdom and courage to do what is right.
Wednesday—Pray for Our State Leaders—Pray for officials in our state governments to have pure motives as they lead with integrity, compassion and wisdom.
Thursday—Pray for Our Local Leaders—Pray that our city and regional government leaders will have unity, wisdom and discernment as they deliberate over local affairs.
Friday—Pray for Our Judiciary—Pray that judges across the nation would rule with integrity, justice and righteousness.
Saturday—Pray for Our Churches—Pray that God will anoint our churches to serve their communities and proclaim Jesus through the Power of the Holy Spirit.
The monthly area Men’s Fellowship will be held at Midway Baptist Church in Palestine, AR
Arkansas District Superintendent Ronnie Morris will be with us as the church formally installs Pastors Allen and Kristy Moore as lead pastors.
Marianna 1st Assembly of God will hold its Annual Mission’s Convention. Three missionaries will be in the building presenting during Sunday School, the morning worship service and the dinner to follow. All attendees will have the opportunity to talk with the missionaries one-on-one. We’ll also have some great door prizes!
The Theme for this year’s Mission’s Convension is “Not Just Jerusalem!”

Missionaries to Mexico David and Kelly Godzwa will be ministering in both Sunday School and the morning worship service today!
Missionary to Wales, Mike James will be with us for Sunday School and Morning Worship.
To allow families a chance to prepare for New Year’s Day, we will not have our regular Wednesday evening activities this night.
Join us with your family for a special Candlelight service. Special music, message and the reading of the Nativity Story.
No regular Wednesday night dinner this week.
Join us for our annual Christmas Potluck after the morning service. The church will provide the ham and the members will proide all the fixings. Don’t have anything to bring? Please feel free to join us anyway! Sign-ups will begin November 30.
The women will meet for a time of food, games and fellowship to celebrate the Christmas Season.
Section 8 of the Arkansas District of the Assemblies of God will have a special combined service at Harrisburg 1st Assembly of God. We will take the church van and leave at 4:15pm. There will be no service at Marianna tonight.
To allow families a chance to prepare for Thanksgiving day, we will not have our regular Wednesday evening activities this night.
We will have our annual Thanksgiving Putluck after the morning service. A Sign-Up sheet will be available starting November 2nd. Don’t have anything to bring? Join us anyway for a great time of fellowship.
Morganne Jumper will talk with our kids about Missions during the Sunday School time then she will bring the Word during our morning worship.
